Questions students ask
What is Classmate, actually?
Give it your lecture and it helps you learn it faster and with less effort. Snap your slides or drop in a PDF, and about a minute later the whole thing is split into short parts you can read in one go, with a quick question every few parts to check you remember what you just read. After that it keeps track of what you know and what's starting to slip.
What can I upload?
Photos of slides, your handwritten notes, scanned pages or a PDF. In the phone app you can scan pages straight from the camera. Got a 200-page PDF? Pick only the pages you need. You can also leave a short note, like "focus on chapter 3", and Classmate will keep it in mind.
Will it leave out anything that's on the exam?
No. It builds the lesson only from your material and keeps every definition, formula and fact in it. It explains them in plainer words and adds examples, but it doesn't cut corners. And if you ask about something your lecture doesn't cover, it tells you the answer comes from outside it.
Who is Ace?
Ace is the little robot who studies with you. Stuck on a part? Ask Ace and you get a straight answer first, then an analogy, an example or an exam tip if you want more. Still confused? Ace explains it a different way instead of repeating itself. You can even send a photo of a task or a textbook page.
How is it different from asking an AI chatbot?
A chatbot starts from zero every time. Classmate already knows you: your school level, how you like to learn, what you're into, which subjects come easy and which don't. So you get explanations in words that fit your level, analogies from your own hobbies, and smaller steps in the subjects you find hard. It also remembers every wrong answer and brings it back before the exam.
How does it know what I'm forgetting?
Every answer you give updates what Classmate knows about you, one concept at a time. When something starts to fade, it shows up in your daily review: about five questions, around five minutes. If an exam is coming up that week, those topics go first. The phone app gives you a nudge when a few things are due.
Can it plan my studying for me?
Yes. Add your exam date and the lectures it covers, say how many hours a day you have and which days are off, and you get a day-by-day plan. The plan looks at what you've already covered and what you keep getting wrong, so your time goes where you need it most.
Can I test myself before the real exam?
Yes. Pick a few of your lectures or upload your materials, and Classmate puts together a practice exam: multiple choice, true or false, fill in the blank, matching and written answers. You see right away if you got it, you can ask why, and at the end you get a list of topics to go over again.
Does it work in Serbian?
Yes, the whole app is in English and Serbian. Your lecture and your explanations don't have to be in the same language, so an English textbook can be explained to you in Serbian, and the other way around.

Is my material used to train AI?
No. Your lectures, notes and answers aren't used to train public AI models. The AI only gets what it needs to help you study, and it never sees your email.
